The oldest document in our archives is a minute book dating from 23rd March 1910 from “Casino Espanyol”, formed by a group of residents concerned about the need for associationism. Their patron saint was San Jaime.
A year later, the name was changed to "Circulo Instructivo Legitimista".
In 1914, the construction of the organisation’s first wholly owned building was approved.
In 1928, a recreation room was set up for members and the creation of the Rural Savings Bank was approved, which began operating on 15th July.
In 1966, new offices were built on a plot of land located along the Camino Artana. In 1976, these offices were extended; in 1987 there were extended again, and in 2005 the final extension work was carried out leaving the offices as they stand today.
On 25th July 1967, the social premises were officially unveiled, built on a plot of land where, in the early 20th Century the first building had been constructed for the Agricultural Union. Also in that year, land was bought for a manure storage facility. And later, this building would be turned into the current Cooperative Room.
